Setiap tahun hampir 1,3 juta orang meninggal akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan dan lebih dari 3000 orang meninggal setiap harinya. 90% kematian akibat lalu lintas terjadi dinegara negara berpenghasilan rendah. Dan ternyata kecelakaan di jalan merupakan salah satu dari tiga penyebab utama kematian bagi orang antara umur 5 sampai 44 tahun yang memang masih produktif dan merupakan penyebab utama kematian kelima di dunia.

Data dan fakta diatas membuat dunia Internasional akhirnya membentuk satu aksi dengan tema “Decade of Action for Road Safety”. Dimana pada bulan Maret 2010 Perserikatan Bangsa Bangsa (PBB) akhirnya mengeluarkan Resolusi “Decade of Road Safety” 2011 – 2020 (A/64/255). Dengan tujuan untuk menstabilisasi dan mengurangi tingkat kematian di jalan dengan melakukan kegiatan lokal, regional dan global.Resolusi tersebut menyerukan kepada negara anggota untuk melaksanakan kegiatan kampanye keselamatan di jalan, Terkait dengan “Decade of Action for Road Safety” tersebut maka Road Safety Association (RSA) sebagai LSM perwakilan Indonesia pada resolusi PBB tersebut akan bergerak untuk menggelorakan semangat Road Safety kepada seluruh pengguna jalan.

TERIK Jakarta, Rabu, 26 Januari 2011 tembus melewati jaket ke kulit tubuh. Hiruk pikuk sepeda motor dan mobil berseliweran di Jl Kalibata menuju Pancoran, Jakarta Selatan.

Saat berhenti di pertigaan lampu merah di pertigaan Kalibata yang bertemu dengan Jl Raya Pasar Minggu, Pancoran, pandangan saya tergoda oleh sebuah baliho raksasa yang berdiri di sudut pertigaan tersebut.

Di baliho tertulis kalimat Dzikir Akbar Majelis Rasullulah SAW dan Doa Untuk Bangsa, Maulid terbesar di dunia. Acara digelar pada 12 Rabiul Awal 1432 H, atau Selasa, 15 Februari 2011, pukul 07.00 WIB, di Monas, Jakarta Pusat.

Di bagian lain, persisnya di sudut perempatan Jl Pancoran yang bertemu dengan Jl Gatot Subroto, berdiri juga satu baliho serupa.

Baliho tersebut bermakna ajakan kepada umat Islam untuk hadir dalam dzikir akbar tersebut. Tentu saja, khususnya adalah jamaah Majelis Rasullulah. Sebuah ajakan mulia agar ikut mendoakan bangsa agar lebih baik di masa mendatang. Melepaskan kehidupan bangsa dari segala petaka.

Dalam deretan kalimat yang tertera di baliho tersebut, terselip kalimat lain. ”Acara untuk pria dan wanita, bagi pengenara motor dihimbau tertib dan memakai helm.”

Wah, sebuah langkah positif. Mengajak para pemotor sadar akan keselamatan lalu lintas jalan. Bermotor secara tertib dan para pengendara memakai helm.

Baliho serupa sebenarnya saya juga pernah lihat beberapa waktu lalu. Hanya saja, baru kali ini sempat memotret dan menuangkannya dalam tulisan.

Pada bagian kanan bawah baliho tercantum lambang Kepolisian RI dan Garuda Pancasila. Seakan mengajak masyarakat yang melihat menjadi lebih peduli kepada keselamatan jalan dan mencintai negeri ini, Indonesia Raya.

Soal keselamatan jalan. Imbauan yang tertera di dalam baliho tersebut bagi saya sebuah ajakan positif yang patut diapreasiasi. Semakin banyak jamaah yang mematuhi imbauan tersebut, kian banyak yang menyadari pentingnya keselamatan jalan. Maklum, bagi pemotor, kepala adalah wilayah tubuh yang rawan akan potensi menderita luka fatal ketika terjadi insiden kecelakaan lalu lintas jalan. Semoga kian banyak jamaah yang menyadari pentingnya memakai helm saat bersepeda motor. (edo rusyanto)

Bertepatan dengan menjelang berakhirnya tahun 2010. Majelis Rasulullah SAW, salah satu Majelis Dzikir dan Shalawat pemuda terbesar di Jakarta pimpinan Habib Munzir Bin Fuad Al Musawa menggelar acara Dzikir Akbar bersama. Acara tersebut selain bertujuan untuk meredam efek negatif dari segala hura-hura dan pesta pora yang selalu menghiasi malam pergantian tahun, juga bertujuan untuk meminta keselamatan dan kemakmuran bagi seluruh bangsa Indonesia.

Kegiatan ini rutin dilakukan Majelis Rasulullah SAW setiap tahunnya, dan kali kembali mengambil tempat di Pintu Utama Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta Pusat. Dengan dihadiri oleh ratusan ribu sampai jutaan pemuda yang berasal dari wilayah Jabodetabek dan wilayah lain di Indonesia.

Yang istimewa pada acara malam ini (20.30-22.30) adalah dengan hadirnya, Al Habib Umar Bin Hafidh. Salah satu ulama terkemuka dunia saat ini yang berasal dari Kota Tarim, Hadramaut, Yaman dan juga guru dari pimpinan Majelis Rasulullah SAW. Kehadiran Habib Umar Bin Hafidh dalam acara ini berkaitan dengan kunjungan rutin Beliau ke Indonesia setiap tahunnya untuk memantau kegiatan dakwah murid-muridnya yang pernah mengenyam pendidikan di bawah asuhan Beliau di Mahad Darul Mustafha, Yaman.

Acara semacam ini diharapkan dapat membawa warna baru dalam menyongsong sebuah awal tahun yang baru. Bukan dengan segala macam kemubaziran dan kemaksiatan, tapi dengan penuh doa dan harapan untuk masa depan yang lebih baik bagi seluruh bangsa. (MF).
